In Carp (Ontario), across from Christ Church (Anglican), there appears to be a former one-room schoolhouse, and the date stone reads: "LOL NO 55 1924". I have never, ever seen a building with a date stone like that. Any idea what "LOL NO x" means. My immediate expectation regarding LOL No. 55 1924 is that the the structure originally served as a Loyal Orange Lodge.
